A little paradise by the sea
the top I spent 10 days of dreams. I travel a lot, and when I arrived at the papaya tree I finally arrived in paradise, it was my grandchildren who did it. Said and me too besides Laurent the boss and all his team were wonderful and at super cool prices, only downside the Fanta cook who hated me, but no I'm kidding, we spent time together in the kitchen and we had a good laugh she even cried when we left just like us.
A true haven of peace
We wanted to visit Casamance for the first time and luckily we booked Laurent's villa, without imagining that we would have such a good time there. moment. The house, as in the photos is large and very comfortable, located on the edge of the huge beach, The team is just wonderful, the typical Casamance cuisine that we were served was succulent, and Laurent is a top host, he introduced us to Casamance culture, cultural and unusual places, and made us meet really interesting people. A journey rich in emotions!

Magnificent place where the whole team is devoted to us. In short, paradise. Unparalleled cooker. Nice rooms. Thanks everyone.
Nature and authenticity
Quiet location on the edge of the wild beach. The large papaya hut is superb and our ground floor room was spacious, nickel and very comfortable. The team is both discreet and very helpful. Laurent has concocted some wonderful expeditions around the area, to meet the locals, their art of living and their history. The papaya site is perfect for lovers of calm, looking for an authentic and humble retreat or a large house to meet. The meals can be improved from the point of view of quantities. But the local cuisine must remain !
A paradise stay
In the heart of nature, by the sea, wild birds, fruits picked from trees, locusts and frogs, and no mosquitoes! Nice people and energetic. Heaven.

A little paradise, a great team
Our stay at Papayer in August was wonderful. The Papayer Ecolodge in Cap Skirring is located between sea and forest. It's a place wonderful where calm and serenity reign. The staff are helpful, attentive. Thank you to Fanta for his spicy cuisine and his availability, thank you to Hassan for his kindness and discretion, thank you to the gardener for sharing his knowledge in botany, thank you to our organic guide who makes us discover the riches of Casamance, thank you to Laurent for the flawless organization (reservation, organization of the transfer Ziguinchor-Cap Skirring), without forgetting ElHadji our taximan (ziguinchor-Cap Skirring) round trip.
An amazing excursion in the region
We stayed with Laurent and Fanta at the Papayer Ecolodge Hotel Cap Skirring in November 2018. Our stay was incredible! Laurent and his team know the region very well. Laurent and Assan took us in 4x4 for an incredible day in Mlomp and Pointe Saint Georges. This day trip was definitely the highlight of our stay in Casamance. I highly recommend staying with them if you are visiting Casamance and want to know more than about Cap Skirring (there is a lot more to learn in the region!). Other than that Laurent, Fanta and Assan are so sweet and interesting to know! And Fanta is a excellent cook! We couldn't have enjoyed Casamance without their company!
